STX-Only Stakers

Participants who lock STX without a paired BTC commitment.

STX-only stakers continue the existing stacking-style participation path without pairing BTC. In PoX-5, they receive residual Tranche 3 BTC yield after paired BTC obligations and reserve allocation are handled, and they must still be associated with a Stacks signer.

sBTC Pool Participants

Retail or smaller participants who access Bitcoin Staking through whitelisted pools.
