Stacks signers validate blocks under Nakamoto consensus, with signing weight determined by locked STX. Every participant, whether BTC-paired or STX-only, must be associated with a signer by running one directly or delegating to a signer operator.

Stacks Miners

Miners whose BTC bids fund the PoX-5 reward waterfall.

sBTC Signers

Signers that provide and update the BTC address miners pay into for PoX-5 rewards.
